“Mark's work with Jujitsucise has helped our students develop confidence, self-discipline and resilience, with measurable improvements in behaviour and engagement backed by robust data. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark to any school seeking an innovative, evidence-based approach to personal development and student wellbeing."

Over the past year, Mark has become a highly valued partner to Trinitas Academy Trust through his work with Jujitsucise. He has successfully delivered programmes across a range of cohorts at Trinity School and has recently completed the first six weeks of tailored personal development programmes for several year groups at Cornerstone.

What has impressed us most is Mark's ability to engage young people, build positive relationships, and create an environment where students can develop confidence, self-discipline, resilience, and respect. His approach combines high expectations with genuine care and understanding, enabling students to reflect on their choices and develop more positive behaviours.

The impact of his work has been clearly measurable. Across the groups he has supported, we have seen improvements in behaviour patterns, increased engagement, and more positive outcomes for students. Importantly, these improvements are supported by robust data and evidence, giving us confidence in the effectiveness of the programme and its long-term value.

We are delighted that this partnership continues to grow. From September, Mark will also be delivering extracurricular provision for Key Stage 2 pupils at Northwood Primary School, extending the positive impact of his work across our Trust.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark and Jujitsucise to schools and organisations seeking an innovative, evidence-based approach to personal development, behaviour improvement, and student wellbeing.

"I would confidently recommend Jujitsucise to schools, educational settings and organisations seeking a committed programme that can engage young people meaningfully and support their personal development. Jujitsucise offers a practical and purposeful way to help students build confidence, improve self-regulation and develop the attitudes and skills needed to move forward positively."

Jujitsucise is currently working with us at Education Links, supporting young people aged 11-16 through tailored programmes designed to strengthen personal development, emotional resilience and positive behaviour. The work reflects a clear commitment to helping young people overcome challenges, recognise their potential and develop the skills they need to succeed both within education and beyond.

One of the greatest strengths of Jujitsucise is the way the programme connects with young people from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances. It creates an environment in which students feel supported, challenged and encouraged to take responsibility for their actions. Through a distinctive and engaging approach, Jujitsucise develops self-control, perseverance, respect and confidence, helping students understand the importance of making positive choices and managing difficult situations constructively.

Jujitsucise recognises that every young person has individual needs and responds accordingly, adapting its approach to ensure that students remain engaged and motivated. Its ability to establish trust, set clear expectations and encourage personal accountability makes the programme particularly valuable for young people who may struggle with confidence, behaviour, engagement or their experience of mainstream education.

The benefits of Jujitsucise extend beyond participation in the sessions themselves. By equipping young people with practical strategies to manage their emotions, respond to challenges and interact positively with others, the programme helps lay the foundations for more sustained personal growth. Its approach places equal importance on building positive relationships and developing the resilience and life skills that young people can apply in their everyday lives.

At Education Links, we value the contribution Jujitsucise makes to supporting young people during a crucial stage of their development. Its dedication, adaptable approach and ability to motivate students make it a valued part of our wider work with young people aged 11–16.

I would confidently recommend Jujitsucise to schools, educational settings and organisations seeking a committed programme that can engage young people meaningfully and support their personal development. Jujitsucise offers a practical and purposeful way to help students build confidence, improve self-regulation and develop the attitudes and skills needed to move forward positively.

“Mark’s behaviour intervention programme combined practical self-defence with weekly coaching, and we saw noticeable improvements in some of our most challenging pupils, both in school and at home. Professional and well structured throughout, with weekly data reviews and an insightful end-of-cycle impact report. I would highly recommend Jujitsucise to any school looking for an effective approach to supporting behaviour.”

Mark delivered a Jujitsucise behaviour intervention programme at King Solomon Academy, combining practical self-defence sessions with weekly coaching conversations with students. He worked with some of our more challenging pupils and we saw noticeable improvements in behaviour over the course of the programme, with students presenting more positively both in school and at home.

The programme was very well structured and professional throughout. Mark took detailed notes, reviewed behaviour data on a weekly basis, and closely monitored each student’s progress. At the end of the cycle he provided an impact report which was very insightful, including clear recommendations and next steps for each individual.

Alongside this, Mark also ran a very successful extracurricular club which had high levels of engagement and was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.

I would highly recommend Jujitsucise to any school looking for an effective approach to supporting behaviour, as well as an extracurricular activity that offers something different from the usual sports provision.

"Mark's Personal Safety workshops struck the perfect balance between engaging classroom learning and practical, hands-on exercises, creating a supportive atmosphere where our sixth form pupils built real confidence and awareness. We would highly recommend Mark to any school looking to provide an engaging, memorable and valuable personal safety programme for their pupils."

We were delighted to welcome Mark founder of Jujitsucise to deliver their Life beyond the classroom - Personal Safety workshops with our sixth form boys and girls. The sessions struck the perfect balance between engaging classroom-based learning and practical, hands-on exercises, ensuring every pupil remained involved throughout.

Mark created a positive, supportive atmosphere that encouraged participation and built confidence. One pupil mentioned how she was really nervous to begin with but Mark helped her feel at ease and ‘come out of her shell’ which helped her improve her skills in personal safety. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the interactive activities and appreciated the opportunity to practise real-life personal safety skills in a safe and controlled environment.

The workshops were informative, age-appropriate, and empowering, helping pupils develop greater awareness, confidence, and practical strategies for keeping themselves safe.

We would highly recommend Mark to any school looking to provide an engaging, memorable, and valuable personal safety programme for their pupils.

Pentagon Play

We brought Mark in as part of our corporate wellbeing event to deliver a Jujitsucise self-defence and personal safety session for our entire team. The workshop covered health and safety, what self-defence truly is, and a really useful overview of the relevant legal frameworks.

Mark provided key information around personal safety, taught some highly effective self-defence techniques, and incorporated glove and pad work that both the male and female members of staff absolutely loved. The session was engaging, professional and hugely empowering, it genuinely elevated our wellbeing day and made it something special for everyone involved.

You can check out our LinkedIn page, Pentagon Play, for photos and more about the day.

I would highly recommend Mark to any corporate organisation looking for either a one-off session or a regular self-defence and wellbeing programme. An outstanding experience all round.
